Winning case spotlight webinar: Vista Outdoor
The Case Research Journal hosts a series of masterclass online conversations with the authors of award-winning and top performing case studies. Each conversation will spotlight how the author researched and wrote the case, how they overcame difficulties in developing the case and instructor manual, how they responded to reviewer feedback, and what they have learned from teaching the case.

On December 14, The Case Research Journal will host John J. Lawrence, author of “Vista Outdoor: A Business Portfolio Under Stress,” which won the 2020 Curtis E. Tate Award. John is Professor Emeritus in the College of Business & Economics at the University of Idaho, where he taught strategy and operations management courses at both the undergraduate and executive level for 27 years before retiring in May of 2020.
